We only use European Redwood from sustainably managed plantations

in Northern Europe - a timber whose

performance has been provenover

many centuries. As part of our

environmental commitment we

never use tropical hardwoods - whilst

our full environmental policy, objectives,

targets and records are available

on request.

Multi-layered, engineered timber is

formed through finger jointing - using

short pieces of perfect timber,

mechanically bonded together to form

longer lengths. The opposing grains

then even out any natural moisture

movement, resulting in an immensely

strong and stable timber, perfect for

windows and doors.

This cutting-edge technology is also key

to all Dale Joinery products achieving

high levels of energy efficiency. Every

casement window is rigorously tested

to BS6375-1:2009 for weather

tightness and air permeability - meeting

or exceeding the criteria for this

exacting standard.

extensive range of styles and may be enhanced with

feature glass, including designs based on original

Victorian glazing motifs.

A wide range of traditional shades are available,

together with more subtle colours such as Blue Grey,

Chrome Green and Oyster White. Multiple colours can

also be combined on the same door, enabling the inside

face to match your internal decor.

A selection of ironmongery can be added, including spy

holes, letter-plates, knockers and security chains, whilst

all doors are hung on robust hinges. Your security is

assured by multi-point locking mechanisms, whilst we

Our colour options

White painted windows look traditional

and smart but are not the only option -

householders may be surprised to learn

that only 40% of the windows we sell are

white. Dale products are available in

hundreds of different shades - from vibrant hues to subtle creams and

greys. Multiple colours can also be combined on one item, enabling you to

finish the internal frame to match your room decor. The reproduction of

the colour palette shown on the opposite page is for illustrative

purposes only.

available and are as close as accurately possible. However, because wood is

a natural material the surface texture and colour shade may vary.

HANDLING

Always ensure that there is adequate labour or the appropriate mechanicallifting gear available on site to safely offload and transport the product onsite to avoid causing any damage.

SITE STORAGE

• Long term storage of our products on site is not recommended.

• Timber products should be stored in a clean dry area and kept away fromother site activities to avoid damage to the timber, glass, ironmongery orfactory finishes.

• Failure to store, handle and maintain our timber products appropriatelycould invalidate your guarantees.

• Always place factory finished and glazed products on bearers and storevertically.

• Any protective wrapping on the product should be left in place until theproduct is required for installation and care must be taken when removingany protective wrapping.

• Sashes must always be kept in the closed position during thebuilding/installation process and any on site glazing should also be carriedout with the sashes closed.

• Allow sufficient spacing between each product to prevent handle or cilldamage, for ease of handling and to maintain good air circulation aroundthe products.

• Always avoid storing products in extremes of light or temperature or inunventilated rooms or where wet trades are taking place.
