Check out four of the seasons prettiest makeup trends:A little can go a long way Bold, berry lips paired with understated eye makeup make the statement. By keeping the eyes simple and lips bold, it wont look too overdone or garish, says Tina Davis, the makeup artist for our model.
- 2. Going for the One color really can do it all, especially when it comes to gold. Rose/gold blush and lipstick work effortlessly together to warm up a cold weather complexion. Then, make your eyes sparkle in the lights with shadow flecked with gold. Davis recommends using metallic and shimmery shades for a gorgeous winter glow.
- 3. This blush in: bring the great outdoors Create a flushed, just-in-from-skiing look by switching from bronzer to blush. First, apply blusher to the apples of the cheeks and blend back towards the hairline, using a cotton ball for a super-natural look, advises Davis. Complete the look with a natural lip stain and a classic black eyeliner.
- 4. Green is making a comeback, big-time! Use deep, jewel-tone greens to create a sultry, smoky eye. Usually this is created with black, brown or gray, but Davis suggests using a deep shade of green instead for an updated sultry stare. To get added glamour, top lids with a touch of shimmery green/gold shadow and finish lashes with two to three coats of mascara. Keep lips and cheeks natural so that the focus stays on the eyes. Its easy when its green MAKEUP ARTIST: Tina Davis used MAC cosmetics
