  2. 2. NME House Style NME magazine is successful because the photographs use direct "talk to" to engage the reader. The magazine is concluded by attracting the reader using bold font colours and lots of attentiongrabbing headlines. The convention that is most central would be the colour scheme. The colour of the text is mainly red, the celebrities' name in a white font as they are the main focus of the magazine. NME keep their red, white and black colour scheme throughout their magazines, creating a uniformed house style.
  3. 3. Kerrang House Style The kerrang house style is exceptionally successful because of the bold font and the pictures of rock star legends past and present. It concludes because the picture of the main images are of famous people and the whole rock style helps to connect the potential audience of teens to adults dependant on the type of music they like and enjoy. Kerrang keep their red, white and black colour scheme throughout their magazines, creating a uniformed house style.
  4. 4. Vibe House Style The vibe house style is very effective because of the bold font and the pictures of the latest stars in the music world. It concludes because the picture of the main images are of famous people and latest "swaggy" people helps to engage the potential interest of their audience being of young teen origin. Vibe house style varies they dont really have a uniformed house style their house style is more aimed at the pictures that surround it.
  5. 5. Rolling Stone House Style The rolling stones' house style is very effective because of the uses of images and font which creates a rock n' roll and cool theme to the magazine. Firstly, the image of Snoop Dogg on the front cover attracts the audience because he is well-known, very iconic and somewhat a role model to the younger generation. The house style concludes because the font style and size is the same throughout the magazine. Rolling Stones keep their red, white and black colour scheme throughout their magazines, creating a uniformed house style.
