HOW TO MAKE A TESSELLATION

STEP 1

Firstly, construct a one parallelogram

STEP 2

Then, construct another parallelogram beside the first one.

STEP 3

After that, construct the third parallelogram and place it above other two parallelograms.

STEP 4

Then, copy the image that has been constructed and combine them both.

STEP 5

After that, fill the image with any color .

To color the image, firstly, we have to highlight the points of the area

needed. Then, select ‘interior’ in the ‘display’ section. After that, color it

with any color.

STEP 6

Then, copy the image produced and palace it under the first one.

HOW TO MAKE A POP-UP

Pop-up’s name : Providence

STEP 1

Cut out the card following the solid, GREY lines around the edges only. Color in

the picture of Topo with markers or crayons, but make sure you DON’T color in

the areas that say “Glue Here!”

STEP 2

Fold the card in half, closing it along the center fold line you've just scored.

Crease it with your thumb and finger, then open the card up again.

STEP 3

Cut out Providence and the flying machine carefully following the solid, GREY

lines around the edges. DO NOT cut any of the black lines!

STEP 4

Fold the entire pop-up piece in half along the center fold line, making sure that all

the dotted lines are still visible

STEP 5

Open the pop-up piece again and lay it on a flat surface. Take hold of the lower

LEFT wing of the flying machine

STEP 6

and fold it up, creasing the fold with your thumb or finger. Lower the piece back

down to it’s original position again.Repeat this with the lower RIGHT wing of the

flying machine.

STEP 7

Make hold of the lower part of the LEFT wing as shown above and SLOWLY

begin to push the wing, along it's fold, over to the right.

STEP 8

Continue pushing until the wing lays completely over to the RIGHT side as

shown above. Open the wing back up and repeat this process the wind on the

other side.

STEP 9

Providence and the flying machine should now look like this! The wings on either

side should be coming in slightly towards the center.

STEP 10

Take hold of the upper part of the LEFT wing and fold it towards the back,

making sure that all the dotted lines are still visible. Take hold of Providence

between your thumb and finger and begin pinching her

STEP 11

Providence and the flying machine should look like this! Providence should be

leaning forward, the upper part of the wings should be leaning back and the side

wings should be coming in slightly towards the center.

STEP 12

Take the Topo card and apply glue only to the areas indicated. Make sure you

apply glue near the insides of the GREY lines!

STEP 13

Place the lower parts of the wings over the glue areas on the card

STEP 14

 

Carefully press down letting the glue dry.

STEP 15

The pop-up is complete.
