Listen To The Radio

Make sure your electronics are charged and if possible have a battery operated or hand crank radio.

Have A To Go Bag.

Make sure you have a to-go bag ready at all times in case of an emergency. You should have gear like cell phone chargers, water, etc.

72 Hours Worth of Food and Water.

Store at least 72 hours worth of food and water in a storm cellar, closet or safe place.

Have flash lights, oil lamps & other sources of light.

Make sure you have batteries on hand.

Grab and Go Binder.

A grab and go binder has important family documents. It’s always a good idea to have an extra copy with a family member out of state.

Know The Nearest Shelter.

Make sure to locate the nearest and safest building if you do not have a storm shelter.

Keep Enough Gas In The Car.

In the event of an emergency, a full tank of gas is a necessity.
