BT U-Cups - Parker’s BT U-Cup is athird-generation product with superiorqualities compared to standard U-Cups.Many U-Cups allow seepage. TheParker BT U-Cup, however, includes abuffer ring, keeping the seal dry througheven the most stringent service.

The BT U-Cup is made from Parker 4300,a unique, low compression set polyure-thane material, and meets the require-ments of most Original EquipmentManufacturers specifications.

PolyPak Seals - The Parker PolyPak is apatented precision-molded multi-purposefamily of sealing devices combing an O-Ring-type O-Spring with a conventionallip seal. This produces a unique productwhich seals in vacuum, high or lowpressure.

The Parker PolyPak gives you manyadvantages, including:

Superior sealability - The ParkerPolyPak provides an excellent seal, froma hard vacuum to more than 60,000 psi. Itwon’t leak under low pressure like manyconventional U-Packing seals. The sealalso maintains lip loading on the I.D. andO.D. interface during temperature ex-tremes.

PTFE Seals - Parker's PTFE seals areideal for both static and dynamic applica-tions. Parker FlexiSeals for example, workin temperature extremes, seal from hardvacuum to 40,000 psi, and can toleratehigh reciprocting surface speeds. TheFlexiSeal design eliminates creepingcommon among similar seals, and includesspring loading for long-term resilientmemory. Other Parker PTFE Seals includeFluidPower Seals and a wide range ofpiston and rod seal types.

Product Engineering & Design

InPHorm¨ For PolyPak Seals - ThisWindows-based software is the first evercreated for PolyPak design and materialselection. This software allows custom-ers to draw on Parker’s vast engineeringand design resources to choose materialand profile selections and gland design— right at their own computers. Inaddition, InPHorm provides instantaccess to complete test reports on manypopular Parker sealing materials.

Testing Facilities - Parker's extensivein-house hydraulic and pneumatic testingfacility validates seal designs and com-ponents. We have two hydraulic teststands (of 100 & 150-horsepower) whichsimulate the environment the seal andcylinder will undergo in the field. Weprovide you with the test data varifing thatyour product will perform effectively andefficiently . . with Parker seals.

Product Engineering - Our experiencedengineers use CAD drafting software,InPHorm software, and Finite ElementAnalysis to develop the right product forthe application. We offer unparalleledtechnical assistance to tackle even thetoughest sealing problems.

Finite Element Analysis - This leading-edge technology can provide cost-effective solutions to meet your elasto-meric sealing demands. In essence,F.E.A. process allows us to simulate thebehaviour of a proposed seal profile in itsgland under various pressures, providingvital information on seal performanceprior to production of prototype parts indevelopmental situations.

4300 Polyurethane - One of our newestcompounds, P4300 is unparalleled in thesealing industry. It is a high-temperaturepolyurethane compound that quicklyrebounds in high-pressure environments.Parker P4300 performs better thanstandard Polyurethanes in technicaltesting. P4300 exceeds all major OEMelastomer requirements for urethane.
