Solemnity of Corpus Christi: June 18, 2017

Sunday, June 18th is the solemnity of the Corpus Christi, (Body of Christ). There will be Eucharistic Adoration from Saturday June 17 at 9:00 pm to Sunday June 18 at 7:45am, concluding with Benediction. The Solemn Procession will take place on Sunday June 18th at 6 pm, following the 5pm Holy Mass. (The 7pm Holy Mass on Sunday June 18th is being cancelled).

Domenica 18 giugno è la solennità del Corpo e Sangue di Cristo. Ci sarà l’adorazione eucaristica dalle ore 21,00 di Sabato 17 Giugno fino alla mattina di Domenica 18 Giugno alle ore 7,45 con la Benedizione Eucaristica. La processione solenne verrà fatta alle ore 18,00, subito dopo la Santa Messa delle ore 17,00. (Non sarà celebrata la Santa Messa delle ore 19,00 di domenica 18 giugno).

Living the Gospel by helping young families to succeed… When Amber found out she was going to be a mother, she was afraid and uncertain about who to turn to and where to go. After a friend told her about Rose of Durham, Amber arrived looking for help preparing for the arrival of her son. After one session with her counselor, she felt very safe and welcome, and her anxiety about becoming a parent begin to decrease. Amber admits she would not be the parent she is today if it wasn't for the help and guidance she was offered at ShareLife-supported Rose of Durham. Last year, over 1,270 young parents received the care, counseling and educational support they needed to care for themselves and their new families.

Marygrove Camp Second Collection June 17 & 18, 2017

Next weekend the annual collection for Marygrove Camp will take place. Your donation will help send over 1,100 less fortunate girls to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul’s Marygrove Camp this summer.
