Team WorkingWorking as a part of the committee has really helped me develop my team working skills. I have had to help organizeevents and sessions, not only working with other committee members, but also catering to all our members, ensuringthey were both enjoyable and ran smoothly.

CommunicationI have developed communication skills throughout the year both over social media, in linking the members to thecommittee, but also in person through running, and helping to organize events and sessions.

Planning and OrganisationI have had to plan and organize events throughout the year. I was one of the main organizers for the trip to MCM ComicCon which is the largest outing of our year. I have also helped plan for events such as our inter-uni quiz, film nights, andkaraoke sessions

Persuasion and NegotiationDuring the planning for the Inter-Uni quiz, the social officer and I had to negotiate between Anime Soc committeemembers from other universities to chose what games and quiz's to do during the quiz, when and where to hold it, andwho would be in charge of buying prizes and refreshments for the day.

Personal EffectivenessI have had to step up and run the VN Project, despite it not being a particular area of expertise. This is a project that themembers voted to do as a society which has involved writing, and making a computer game. The plot line and characterdesign are well underway and we hope to have it finished by the end of next year.

Problem SolvingI was in charge of the end of term meal out to Assa's. The booking was difficult as the people did not speak muchEnglish, and it involved several calls to finalize the booking. However, everything went smoothly, and the members verymuch enjoyed it.
