we celebrated the national holidays of our partner schools andlearned about

unesco heritage in cyprus and in europe. We also did various projects such as

learning about our customs for easter and christmas.

I went to a trip to unesco sites such as lefkara, learned about the national holiday

of Portugal and many facts about it's history. I also was part of the vintage

clothing day.

We went to the salt lake which is on the tentative list to appreciate the history and

clean up the area and we also went to the village of lefkara to learn about the

traditional lefkaritiko knitting method which is part of Cyprus' intangible heritage.

I went to Madeira and we saw the natural heritage there. The cleanup of the salt

lake area, the trip to the village Lefkara and the investigation of the lefkaritiko and

a trip to a byzantine church to see the mosaics.

We had competition where we had to write one interesting fact about the history of at

least one of the partner schools in europe that we are cooperating with.

We had to research an important time in history for one of the school's in our project

and write about it. I investigated the Spanish civil war. We also had a celebration for

the national days of all our countries in the project. The ones for Greece and Cyprus

were the same so that was pretty easy but we also did celebrations for Romania,

Spain and Portugal which was a lot of fun.

I was part of the weakest link as a contestor. This was a knowledge competition and

many questions were about our cultural heritage and unesco and the european history

and I had to learn them to do well in the game. I was on the team that won!

I think that I have much more knowledge now and a deeper understanding about the

importance of UNESCO. Protecting these sites is very important and the Erasmus

helped me understand this.

i learbed more about the other countries like portugal and also enjoyed visiting

important heritage sites. I really liked the fashion vintage day

I feel more open minded after meeting so many different people in the program and

visiting beautiful places in Latvia

I am already very good in English :) and I.T. is my best subject so I didn't gain

knowledge here. But I am more interested in Unesco and in history and the European

Union now.
