Prerequisite : No previous knowledge of Japanese language. Best for busy learners or shortterm stay learners.

Objectives : To learn sentence structures and vocabulary of upper beginner level (L33-42), andto develop basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. To study 100Kanji required for JLPT N4 level. To be able to carry on a basic conversation in thevarious situations. (i.e. laboratory)
Prerequisite : Completion of 150 hours of studying Japanese, Beginning 3, or JLPT N5equivalent.【Note】This course is designed for students who didn’t take any courses of2018A1A2.

Evaluation : Final exam 30%、Vocab. quiz 20%、Kanji quiz 10%、Grammar Quiz 10%、Assignments 25%、Classroom Activity 5%
・Course will be completed if all the following requirements have been met;1) Have attended more than 70% of classes 2) Have completed final exam and/orfinal assignment・Letter grades for the entire course will be assigned as follows: A:80-100% B:65-79% C:50-64% F:0-49%・Makeup exams for final exam can be scheduled ONLY in the one week periodafter the exam date.
