Q&A on studying and coronavirusG
et the quality education experience
The current situation will certainly continue to have some impact on studies and living in Poland. We are sure that these inconveniences are temporary and soon everything will go back to normality. Below you may find some Q&A on this topic.
Will the academic year start on time?Yes, the ministry for higher education in Poland announced that the academic year will start on time
What if the travel restrictions are still in place?Universities are prepared for the situation, when someone will not be able to come on time to Poland. In such
cases teaching will be organized online.
What is the condition of the Polish healthcare system due to COVID-19?
Polish healthcare system is one of the best in the world. Due to a relatively small number of infected
people, the healthcare system is operating efficiently.
Vaccination against COVID-19All medical students (Polish & foreigners) have the opportunity to get vaccine against COVID-19. Medical students
are considered in stage 0 in Poland (they get vaccines with the healthcare workers in the hospitals)
Q&A on Polish visa for international studentsG
et the quality education experience
If you need a visa, you can get it at the Polish embassy in your country. Addresses and contact details of consulates and Embassies in your country can be found here.
Note: To obtain visa you have to prove that you have enough money for living in Poland - with the
calculation of approximately 190$ / month + accommodation expenses + ticket for the return trip to your
home country (approximately 680 $). Please be informed that at some embassies may also require to pay
for at least one semester of studies. E.g. let’s say your accommodation will cost 175$ / months, thus
to obtain visa for one year you have to have: (190 $ + 175 $) x 12 months + 680$ ≈ 5060 $
Please note the university only provides Admission Letter required by the embassy. The university does not help in visa procedure and other formalities connected with it. If you need assistance, we recommend you to contact our Official Recruitment Agency - Owl-Med: [email protected]
