& THE GIVER OF LIFE

Luke 7:11-17

THE POINTAs we go through life, we will encounter set backs and frustrating situations such that we may get to the point of believing that life is just that. Yes that may be all about life If you have not encounter Jesus Christ. When you meet Jesus you will indeed come to the end of sorrow and death that cripple us so often. Jesus is the solution of our lives. He has the power to heal and restore your life so beautifully that you and people around you will be amazed. When you meet Jesus or when Jesus meets you, He will put an end to your pain. He will meet you at your exact point of need. He will bring you into an experience of victory. You will be imparted with life, wisdom, and you will be so amazed that worship will overflow from you to God in celebration of His love and compassion toward you and mankind.

LUKE 7:11-17

11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry." 14 Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" 15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. 16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people." 17 This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

ENCOUNTER BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH

WHEN JESUS THE GIVER OF LIFE MET DEATH.

JESUS ANAD HIS DISCIPLES ALONG WITH THE CROWD FOLLOWING WERE ENTERING THE VILLAGE OF NAIN WHEN THE MET A FUNERAL PROCESSION.11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.

A GRIEVED WIDOW

WHEN JESUS THE GIVER OF LIFE MET THE WIDOW GRIEVED BY DEATH

THE FUNERAL PROCESSION WAS ACCOMPANING A WIDOW WHO HAD LOST HER ONLY SON.

SHE WAS IN DEEP PAIN12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."

GRIEVED UNDER THE OPPRESSION OF THE THIEF

THIS WOMAN HAD SUFFERED UNDER THE OPPRESSION OF SATAN

THE FUNERAL PROCESSION WAS ACCOMPANING A WIDOW WHO HAD LOST HER ONLY SON.

SHE WAS IN DEEP PAINJOHN 10:10

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

ARE YOU SUFFERING RIGHT NOW?

MANY PEOPLE ARE UNDER THE OPPRESSION OF SATAN WHO IS STRIPPING THEM FROM ALL THEIR STRENGTH. THEY ARE LOOSING ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER. THEY ARE IN DEEP PAIN AND SOME CANNOT EVEN TALK ABOUT IT.

YOU ARE LOOSING EVERYTHING

YOU HAVE LOST YOUR HEALTH.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR PURITY.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR FEELINGS.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR PRINCIPLES.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR INTELLIGENCE.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MORAL STANDART.YOU HAVE LOST YOUR GOAL, YOUR DREAM.YOU ARE LOOSING EVERYTHING….

THE DEVIL IS STRIPPING YOU OF EVERYTHING

A VILLAGE OF DEATH

A VILLAGE OF DEATH. A PLACE WHERE SHE HAD LOST EVERYTHING.

THAT WAS NOT A PLACE OF BLESSING.

THE WORLD: A PLACE OF DEATH

ALL IN THE WORLD ARE IN THE PLACE OF DEATH.THEY LIVE IN TRANSGRESSIONS AND SINS.

THEY ARE CONTROLLED AND MANIPULATED FOR THEIR DESTRUCTION.EPHESIANS 2:1-3

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

COMING OUT OF THE PLACE OF DEATH

THE WOMAN WAS NOT LOOKING FOR JESUS BUT SHE WAS COMING OUT OF THAT VILLAGE WHERE SHE LOST

EVERYTHING.SHE WAS COMING OUT!!!

HAVE YOU REALIZED THE NEED OF COMING OUT!!!

THIS WORLD IS A PLACE OF DEATH.IT IS JUDGED BY GOD!!!

WHEN GOD SAVE HIS CHILDREN, HE TAKES THEM OUT OF THIS WORLD, A PLACE OF DEATH!

EPHESIANS 2:4-6

4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

HAVE YOU REALIZED THE NEED OF COMING OUT!!!

THIS WORLD IS A PLACE OF DEATH.IT IS JUDGED BY GOD!!!

WHEN GOD SAVE HIS CHILDREN, HE TAKES THEM OUT OF THIS WORLD, A PLACE OF DEATH!

JOHN 17:14

“I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.”

ENCOUNTER WITH LIFE: COMFORT

JESUS MET HER AND FELT FOR HER.SHE DID NOT PRAY BUT HE KNEW WHAT

SHE NEEDED. HE PROCEEDED AS HE ALWAYS DOES, HE GAVE HER A WORD:

ENCOUNTER WITH LIFE: COMFORT

THE BIBLE TELLS US NOTHING OF HER SPIRITUAL STANDING. THAT WAS NOT THE MATTER: SHE WAS IN PAIN AND IN NEED AND THE GOD OF COMPASSION DECIDED

TO MEET HER NEEDLUKE 7:13-14

ENCOUNTER WITH LIFE: COMFORT

THE LORD WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU A WORD FIRST BEFORE HE MOVES INTO

ENCOUNTER WITH LIFE: COMFORT

THE LORD SEES YOU AND HE KNOWS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH HE KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED.

HE IS SAYING TO YOU THIS MORNING:

MY SON DON’T CRYMY DAUGHTER DON’T CRY

ENCOUNTER WITH LIFE: THE END OF THE MOVE OF DEATH

AFTER GIVEN THE WORD, HE MOVED INTO ACTION: HE WENT INTO DIRECT CONFRONTATION WITH DEATH.

HE PUT A STOP INTO A DEATH PROCESSION

THE VOICE OF JESUS WENT FROM THE REALM OF THE LIVING INTO THE REALM OF DEATH

AND THE YOUNG MAN HEARD AND OBLIGED"Young man, I say to you, get up!"

IMPACT OF LIFE: THE FEAR OF GOD AND LOVE

FEAR CAME UPON ALL AND

THEY BURST INTO WORSHIPLUKE 7:13-14

THE GREAT CONFESSION

THEY KNEW GOD HAD COME TO HELP THEM FROM THE BONDAGE OF SATAN

MAKE YOUR OWN CONFESSION

GOD HAS COME TO HELP YOU MY DEAR FRIEND.

ACKNOWLEDGE HIM IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HIS POWER IN YOUR LIFE.

MAKE YOUR OWN CONFESSION

COME FORWARD AND DECLARE YOURSELF OUT OF THIS WORLD THAT IS WHERE THE LORD IS WAITING FOR YOU TO END YOUR

SORROW AND RETORE YOUR LIFE
