One of the largest junior beef breed shows in the world, the JNHE is the highlight of the National Junior Hereford Association’s (NJHA) summer activities. It is held each July and is known to many as the ultimate family vacation. is summer spectacular provides an opportunity for competition of both junior members and their cattle projects along with plenty of events for the entire family. During the week, more than 700 Hereford youth from 40 states will unite at the Alliant Energy Center to exhibit 1,200 head of Hereford cattle, and participate in 23 leadership and personal development competitions.
