Opinion Writing – Mrs. Inumerable’s 1st Grade Class

Do you think Olympic View Is the Best school?

BizTown was very fun this year! It was my third and final

year going to BizTown. Working at NBC 7 News was really fun

because I was able to cue the camera operator and tell him

when to turn on the cameras. I also got to go to every

business to schedule interviews on the news with them. The

different things that every business was selling was very

unique. I enjoyed BizTown on all three of the years I went

but this one was definitely my favorite. --Devyn Senaha

Biztown was so much fun. I really didn't expect it to be really

big. You could do so much there. But the only thing that I

wish was longer was our breaks. I also think we should have a

longer time to do work. But I really liked my job it was fun

printing out things although it was tough figuring out how to

do things on the computer. When I was there I thought it

was going to be hard just for two people in one company but

then I noticed that it's really not that hard. But this

experience couldn't be any better. --Lilyana Auditor

BizTown was a fun experience and I am willing to go again.

The day was fun but hard. Me being a CEO/CFO I was busy

all the time, even on break! The deposits and checks were

coming while I was on break. Being in the radio station was a

fun thing to do. Even doing payroll, I got to give everyone

their check when they went on break. The good thing was

that it helped me learn what my parents do in the workforce.

I think that BizTown is pleasant experience for anyone that

goes. --Michael Navarro

Something that I really enjoyed during our trip to JA

Biztown was that I got to be an attorney for a company

named Procopio which is very fun because that's my dream

job to be a lawyer. I liked the cases and how I got to look for

clues. I also had to get scientific evidence to prove my case.

The lawsuit was really interesting and it felt like if it was

really my job! I was worried it was going to be boring but it

turns out it was really exciting. Thanks for teaching us Mrs.

Van Nostrand and Ms.Wiseman. --Camila Hernandez

My day a JA biztown was amazing because actually working

just for a little bit made me realize that my parents work so

hard just so that we can have a house to live in and food to

eat and water to drink. I am grateful that I got the chance

to actually know what it is like to work. But one of my favorite

parts of BizTown was when all of the other people got their

first break and the store was just filled with people and we

got through all of them. --Nathan Madriaga

Johnathan Ramos Let me tell you about Olympic View School. I think

Olympic View School is the best school. The first reason

is they have great food and fresh fruit. The next reason

is they have a big playground. The last reason is they

have a lot of classrooms. You should go to Olympic View.
