On May 24 2018 the Federal Bar Association awarded Shaun S. McCrea the 2018 criminal practitioner James M. Burns Award. The Burns award is given annually to both a criminal and civil practitioner. The recipients are those who demonstrate the

highest standards of professionalism in their work in the federal court in the District of Oregon. Shaun, a long time Lane County criminal defense lawyer is now the Executive Director of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (OCDLA).
