A Message from our Worthy Grand Knight
Dear Brother Knights, Another year has come and gone. Too fast in my opinion. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all my Brother Knights that helped make this past year a huge success, from the normal charity donations, fish fry’s, blood drives, festival and especially the Ultrasound Machine for the Bulverde/Spring Branch Pregnancy Care Center. These acts of charity will truly benefit those in need and without your hard work, it would not have been possible. 2020 brings about a new year of charity and our membership numbers have never been this high. With that said, I am looking forward to seeing a lot of new faces to help out with our Charity events over the next several months. I have no doubts, with the Catholic Gentlemen we have in our great organization, 2019 will prove to be one of the best years ever. Don’t forget……our first Council Meeting for 2020 will be this coming Wednesday, January 8th at 7:30. I look forward to having a big group there. Once again, thank you Brothers for all your hard work and May God Bless you and your families. In His Service Vivat Jesus Viva Cristo Rey Hal Lane GK, SK

Santa Visit
This past weekend we received an early Christmas blessing! St.
Joseph Catholic Church - Honey Creek asked parishioners to bring
in diapers and gift cards to their parish-wide Christmas
party. Because of their generosity we received $265 worth of gift
cards, $85 in cash, nearly 10,000 diapers and a box of wipes to top
it all off! Thank you to Fr. Francis Mc Hugh, the Knights of
Columbus #8521 and all the families who made these gifts
possible!

Prayer for the Canonization of Father Michael J. McGivney God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify your venerable servant Father Michael J. McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Our Father Hail Mary Glory be to the Father
