We will provide general information about the curriculum, homework and support available as well as specific information about the core subjects. The presentation will be in the school hall expected to last for about an hour and is relatively informal. No booking required. The dates for these evenings are: Wednesday 18th September at 7pm Years 10 and 11 Wednesday 25th September at 7pm Years 8 and 9 IF you have sons or daughters in two or more year groups you are welcome to attend more than one of the dates. However, please be aware that there is a great deal of common material in the information provided across the three evenings. The slide show for each evening will be published on our website after the information evening. LANGTREE ANNUAL SPONSORED WALK—Friday 27th SEPTEMBER 2019: All students should have been given a copy of the sponsored walk letter this week—copies are available on the let- ters / bulletin page of the website. We are looking for marshals for the walk to help at crossing points along the route. If you are able to help between 9.00 am and 3.00pm or part the time please contact Dr Thatcher as soon as possible, with your availability and contact details. [email protected] or click HERE to complete a google form. Sponsored walk money can be paid to school via Scopay. If you are able to GIFT AID your sponsorship please ensure that the sponsor form has the FULL name, FULL address and postcode and the Gift Aid box ticked if applicable. Year 7 and 8 Theatre Performance: County Lines: The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has commissioned Applied Theatre specialists AlterEgo Creative Solutions Ltd to tour secondary schools across Thames Valley with their highly innovative production ‘County Lines’. The play has been developed by the creative and experienced team behind the hugely successful ‘Chelsea’s Story’ (formerly ‘Chelsea’s Choice’), ‘In the Net’, Crashing’, Going to Extremes’ and ‘CLICK’ and will be performed at Langtree School on Thursday 19th September 2019 at 9am to year 7 and 8.
