Latitude is a high performancemachine roomless elevator. It is the outcome of an innova-tive combination of provencomponents and new techno-logically advanced components.

Customer needs have beentaken into account in itsdevelopment, as well asgrowing efficiency, qualityand sustainability awareness.The machine room has beencompletely removed.

The heart of the new elevatoris the Gearless machine. Its minimal dimensions,high efficiency and low main-tenance are the main charac-teristics, offering top perfor-mance and comfort.

Machine and supporting structure.The machine is located on the shaft headsuspended on a vibration insulated frame.The supporting structure is mounted inrecesses made on the shaft walls.

Control Cabinet.The control cabinet is placed, in the standardversion, next to the landing door at the upperstop. In case of necessity, it can also be placedat other floors.The control cabinet contains the CMC controllerand the electronic emergency rescue device.

Frequency Inverter.The drive is a VVVF inverter. It is fixed to the shafthead walls. Speeds of 1.0 m/s and 1.6 m/s areavailable.

Speed Governor.The speed governor stands in the supportingstructure of the machine. It also contains thedevice for remote operation from the controlcabinet.

Latitude is fully prepared for any indoor installa-tion. For outdoor applications, like undergroundstations with upper stop on the street, specialsolutions are available.

Flexibility and design.Multiple choices for all customer needs.

The flexibility of Latitude meets all customerneeds and requirements. It can be used aspassenger or freight elevator in high-standinginstallations, such as airports, office buildings,hotels and shopping centres.Special versions for hospitals are also available.

Attractive taylor madedesign.

All kind of rectangular shaped cabins canbe installed in Latitude, either opaque orpanoramic.Cabins of variable dimensions are available,to allow individual planning and taylor madedesign.
