It has been a while s ince I 've ha d the opportunity to w rite th e "Supporters Letter ." Actual ly ,Pete gave me chances , bu t I would e i t he r fo rge t o r ge t busy with something e lse . Please don ' t taketha t pe rs on a ll y, b u t it j u s t the way it goes with me scxnetimes.

You know t h a t I usual ly go with Pete on t r i p s up c ou nt ry , b ut the re a re a few t imes when it worksout be t t e r tha t I s tay home. Those few t imes leave us miserable in the sense tha t we enjoy being to ge ther so much an d we work well t ogether . Maybe tha t sounds corny, but it i s t rue . I was so lonesanewhen Pete was away for a week teaching in Port Elizabeth frOTi November 13-19. Pete also missed me,but he f e l t good about about h is d ai ly c la s se s , and t h a t ' s what we a re here fo r . The classes (CapeBibl e San inar y) were for the leaders in the churches in t h a t area . Pete taught "1 & 2 Thessalonians"while Steve Ziimnemian t augh t "The Holy Sp i r i t . " They met every n igh t from 7:00 to 9:00 an d averagedf ive to nine men in at tendance. Pete sa id t ha t he f e l t l i k e the men learned a l o t an d they a re lookingforward to more c l a s s e s . We f ind th at t h is sys tem, o f th e t eacher s going to th e s tu de nt s, works verywell . This way, th e men of the church don ' t have to worry about giving up t h e i r jobs o r even havingto take t ime o f f o f work. They don ' t have to worry with expenses (o ther than a sna i l "table money"fe e fo r food] of t rave l o r tu it io n, and they do not have to leave t h e i r famil ies. So we are happy tobe able to help th e men ge t a be t t e r knowledge o f th e Bib le an d taught iiow t o be be t t e r l eade rs in th echurch without it being a burden for theni or t h e i r famil ies. I t i s with your ta i th fu l supjxjrt , f inanc ia l ly an d prayerfu l ly t h a t we are able to work in th is way, here in South Africa . We thank God foryou and pray tha t He wil l bless you for your work in t l iis way. I cannot help but think ol Galat ians6:9-10 where it says , "Let us not become weary in doing good, for a t the proper time we wi l l reap aharvest i f we do not give up.
