Youth Level 2Fundamental Aquatic Skills

M - TH4 to 14years

Level 1Completion

Focuses on locamotion skills and touches on some self help and basic water rescue skills.

Youth Level 3Stroke Development

M - TH4 to 14years

Introduces the butterfly stroke, treading water, and head first entries in to the water from the pool side.

Level 2Completion

Youth Level 4Stroke Improvement

M - TH4 to 14years

In addition to stroke progression, students will work on their endurance as well as be introduced to turning at the wall of the pool.

Level 3Completion

Youth Level 5Stroke Refinement

M - TH4 to 14years

Students will refine their front crawl, back stroke, butterfly, side stroke, breast stroke and elementary back stroke. Introduction to flip turns.

Introduces fundamentals of diving, develops fitness swimming, and some basic lifeguarding skills.

Learn to Swim ProgramThis program will include a comprehensive swim program offering classes for ages 6 months to adults. The registration deadline is the Friday before each session at Noon. The child fee is $35.00 for residents and $40.00 for non-residents. Classes must have a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 10. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 573.339.6340. Registrations are taken Monday - Friday, between 8AM - 5:30PM at the A. C. Brase Arena, or can be completed online at www.cityofcape.org/aquatics. During inclement weather, please call

our rainout line at 573.975.1024 for lesson status.
