one of the eighth Philippine Dream Cities and was also recognized as one of the “20 Most

without a doubt, relative advantage as Bohol’s main business capital.
As the capital of Bohol, Tagbilaran City is the main center for education and work
in the province. All of the province’s universities are located in the city as well as other
well-known institutions of learnings and offices. Given that advantage, young people from
different towns of Bohol urge to fly to the city just to graduate in a good school that
explained the large population of students in the area.
The culture of passionate learning has always existed in Boholanos culture which
must be inspired by the distance they have with their family. Nowadays, reading culture is
still viable despite being impacted by technology but schools unfortunately have failed to

wireless connection and uncomfortable chairs which is described by the students as a
boring place to study. Library Café must be the solution to this demand. A book-themed
café or a modern type of library for reading with a twist for having a cafe in it; a
combination of piles of books and a comfortable café that would make every reader feels
like it is a personal library. A café that is determined to become a daily necessity for local
coffee addicts, a place to dream of as people try to escape the daily stresses of life and just
a comfortable place to meet friends or to read a book, all in one.
