We require cardboard to be broken down. Any plastics should be cleaned out and aluminum cans rinsed out.

Definition - The habitual relapse into a previous undesirable type of criminal behavior.

40.5% of ex-offenders in the DPSCS system recidivate by committing another crime and returning to prison. For ex-offenders who participated in an MCE program, the recidivism rate shrinks to 22.1%. This means that

almost 80% of our inmate workforce is able to become safe, productive citizens upon release.
