President’s Message
Here it is April and we are winding down for the year. However, we still have 3 events left. On Sunday, April 26th we will hold a cookout get together at Jolly Roger’s Marina. Continuing on … on Friday, May 15th instead of our regular Friday Night Flights, we will be having an outing to a Traveler’s game at Dickey Stephens Park in North Little Rock. Come Share the food, drinks and comaraderie at this new event. (see Mary Jane Weindorf for ticket information). To finish out the year, we will hold our Annual Lake Cruise on Larry’s Houseboat on June 13th on beautiful Lake Ouachita. This is always a great way to finish out our club year. For more information as to specific times, costs locations etc. for these events, look further in this newsletter. We hope you will attend the very important April meeting on the 14th at the Crowne Plaza as we are still looking for nominations for the Board of Directors and will be voting on them at this meeting. Please con-sider nominating yourself or someone else (with their permission). It is a pleasure and an honor to serve on the board. Although it can take some of your time and effort, it is a rewarding experience. And don’t forget, we still have Friday night flights on April 17th at YaYa’s. Patti Lucarz President
