What You Need1 lb lean ground beef, can use ground turkey too1 onion, diced1 lb light Velveeta® cheese, cubed4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese, softened and cubed1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with chiles, drained1 lb center cut bacon cooked and crumbled1/2 c milk, you may need more1 c shredded Mexican- style cheese

Bacon Cheeseburger Queso Dip

Directions• In large skillet over medium-high heat, brown beef, drain the beef.

• Then, saute diced onion in large skillet until translucent.

• In large saucepan, melt Velveeta cheese, cream cheese and 1/2 cup milk.

• Stir over medium heat until melted.

• Add shredded Mexican cheese, beef, tomatoes and bacon. Mix until combined.

• If too thick, add a little more milk.

LOS FRESNOSCONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

Notice of Student Enrollment PolicyThe Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires that all parents or guardians enrolling a student present proof of the student’s identity, age, and residency or other eligibility for enrollment.

Documentation of Residency A student is entitled to enroll in Los Fresnos CISD if the student is living in the district. TEA requires Los Fresnos CISD to verify, on enrollment, that a student is living in the district. Examples of methods of verifying residency include:

• utility bill receipts• lease information• verification with designated district personnel that the applicable residence is within the boundaries of the district

Documentation of Identity and Age A parent or guardian who is enrolling a student has up to 30 days (up to 90 days for a child not born in the United States) from the date of enrollment to provide proof of the student’s identity and age. Any one of the documents in the following list is acceptable for proof of identity and age:

• birth certificate • statement of the child’s date of birth issued for school admission purposes by the division of the Texas Department

of State Health Services responsible for vital statistics • driver’s license • adoption records• passport • church baptismal record • military ID card • school ID card, records, or report card • hospital birth record • any other legal document that establishes identity

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION James Comey, National Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigaion met with Luis V. Saenz on January 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas to discuss national strategies and the sharing of law enforcement information and resources on the local level. On April 30th they met again in McAllen, Texas to discuss border violence and spillover issues. On September 3, 2015, Luis met with Christopher Combes, Special FBI Agent in charge of the San Antonio Field Division to discuss ways to work together and build an alliance. At the request of the FBI, an agent from the District Attorney’s office was assigned to work full time at the FBI Brownsville location.

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICEThe United States Department of Justice invited District Attorney Luis V. Saenz to be an instructor as part of a program to modernize Mexico’s criminal justice system.

U.S. DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICEBy working together, the United States Disctrict Atorney’s office and Luis V. Saenz have devel-oped a trusted level of cooperation in resolving various important cases.

U.S. DEPT. OF HOMELAND SECURITYUpon taking the office of District Attorney, Luis V. Saenz was asked by the Dept. of Homeland Security to take the lead in the prosecution of the illegal 8-Liner operations which had been under investigation for 18 months.

DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATIONLuis V. Saenz, has three investigators from the District Attorney’s Office presently assigned with the DEA to assist in conducting drug enforcement operations.

U.S. MARSHAL’S SERVICELuis V. Saenz worked in partnershiop with the United States Marshal’s Office to apprehend and assist in the extradition of fugitive criminal Amit Livingston.
