• Lutakko Living Lab (started, joined Enoll 2008 as Human Tech Living Lab) specialises in Service/ Experience Design & innovaLon – From experiences & cultural pracLses into new concepts and innovaLons
• Applying User-‐Driven Living Lab methodology, Lutakko Living Lab integrates learning into real life open RDI environments.
• Situated in Central Finland, Jyväskylä City Centre, Lutakko City District has experienced a transformaLon from industrial district to a modern combinaLon of learning, knowledge intensive business & events hub. Paviljonki Congress and Trade Fair Centre, leisure and cultural events bring 500 000 visitors to Lutakko annually.
• Our cases vary from business to social innovaLon

• iLutakko idea;on Community ilutakko is an open community for social, user-‐led innovaLon and project-‐based learning. It offers a channel for users through both social media and face-‐to-‐face interacLon. The aim is to create concepts, soluLons and acLons from ciLzens ideas. The main focus is to engage different user groups and stakeholders (residents, students & customers, public & third sector insLtuLons, businesses) in Lutakko area. Currently ilutakko is running 15 mulLdisciplinary student projects, which are aimed at seeking soluLons for problems that community has idenLfied. See virtual community at h]p://www.ilutakko.fi • Trade Fair Centre User Engagement Using Service Design Methodology in be]er understanding customer needs, producing new service ideas and improvements for the exisLng service. The project goal was to engage local people in developing the new store and understand the local needs of different user groups. Users were also engaged in creaLng ideas of their own dream store. • Mobile Learning in Living Lab Environments Co-‐operaLon pilot with a local SME Mobile Tools (h]p://www.mobiletools.fi/en/ ), Lutakko Living Lab is both developing mobile user-‐research methodology and mobile learning applicaLons & environments. • Integra;ng Living Lab Concept to Business Incubator “Generator” Lutakko Living Lab is taking acLvely part in JAMK university’s innovaLon concept Generator, where Living Lab environments of engaged users, user-‐centric methodology and user-‐data are supporLng start-‐up business processes from learning to innovaLon.

• Public Services Partner in projects of Urban Design, eServices, Wellbeing & Cultural Services with the City of Jyväskylä. • Cloud Compu;ng / FreeNest Concept As a part of naLonal Cloud CompuLng Sojware program , JAMK university has developed Freenest (h]p://www.freenest.org ) Portable Project Platlform which uses open source sojware components. Students are working as developers, users and researchers of the plakorm . Future aim is also to develop open sojware tools for Living Lab research and learning (h]p://www.cloudsojwareprogram.org/) • Ethnography in Small Town Centers Customer understanding / Ethnography in 6 small town centers as a part of service design process. 80 local SMEs involved. • Sokos Hotel Paviljonki A Service Design process of conference hotel services. • Service Design Toolkit 2010-‐2012 (funded by TEKES, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and InnovaLon 2010-‐2012; see h]p://www.sdt.fi ) – As a result of this project companies can create customer-‐centered, compeLLve tourism products and services, which apply the
strategic goals of the companies, uLlize the regional resources in a cost-‐effecLve way and strengthen the target brand.
• ECOOP 2012-‐2014 (funded by Interreg IVC) – InternaLonal project of 13 European partners seeking to create and share experiences on ECOOPs, digital co-‐operaLves. Our focus is
to develop digital co-‐creaLon concepts for public service innovaLon and methods for engaging ciLzens to the innovaLon processes.
• Cloud So^ware Program , 2010-‐2013 (Strategic Centres for Science, Technology and InnovaLon (SHOK), TEKES) – "The Cloud Sojware program aims to significantly improve the compeLLve posiLon of Finnish sojware intensive industry in global
markets. According to the 2009 survey most significant factors of compeLLveness are: operaLonal efficiency, user experience, web sojware, open systems, security engineering and sustainable development.
• ICT Toolbox in the Experience Economy (funded by OSKE – Tourism and Experience Management Cluster Programme/ Nordic InnovaLon Center) – The projects aims in sharing and developing methods for ICT supported Experience Design for Tourist DesLnaLons
