Our WorkshopThe industrial complex located in Sprockhövel over an area of 2.000 sqm, is able to guarantee timeliness and efficiency in maintenance and intervention activities in Northern Europe.

Our SpecializationThe production is set up for the machining and handling of large milling, turning and grinding parts. Careful production planning and short distances ensure high fast processing.Quality controls at all stages of the process ensure a high degree of accuracy without defects in ISO 9001 certified production.

The cutting shape is integrated by the applied shape. Various types of coatings can be applied with the help of spray-on and build-up welding processes.

COLD ROLLING INDUSTRY

New construction and modification, reset and repair of machines of the cold rolling industry: uncoiler, recoiler, winders, dispensers, laying winder over and undercarriage, coil lifting devices, guillotine shear, straightening machines, slitting shear, scrap recoiler, scrap cutter, coil strips transport, coil tension and introduction devices, hydraulik devices for use on rolling mills, strip processing lines such as pickling, degreasing, annealing and coating systems as well as in the finishing of slitting lines and cut to length lines.

COMPLETE UNITS WITH ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Elongation levelers, paint application devices, changing devices for rolls and cylinders, inlet and outlet guides of rolling mills, cooling lubricant removal on rolling mills.

PARTS MANUFACTURING

In the production there are welding parts, machined milling, turning and grinding parts.If desired, protective coatings are applied for wear or corrosion protection.

Controls in all production stages and certified processes guarantee a high quality standard.

In case of blades shafts of slitting shear, wire drawing cones, drums for cable drives or the grinding of slitting shears, all components go through several checks and must meet the high requirements of our quality control.

MODERNIZATION AND INCREASED PERFORMANCE

More and more requests need adaptations for long-lasting production lines. Coil weight increases, dimension improvements, performance increases and reducing of non-productive time are just some adjustments for the companies in the future.The installation of powerful measuring devices or modern actuators improve the quality and increase the performance. The replacement of obsolete components ensures the supply of spare parts.Frequently, this requires deep intervention in machine and in system design.

FIMI GmbH can realize, with its experiences, modernizations in fields of design and execution.

MACHINERY AND LINES MOVING, ASSEMBLY

Repositioning of machines and entire systems are carried out in terms of technology and scheduling according to exactly pre-planned processes. Machines, pipe and cable connections are carefully marked and recorded before their disassembly. Disassembly without damages, correct loading, safe transport as well as protected packaging and storage facilitate a trouble-free re-erection and commissioning.

FIMI GmbH process the executive side of the necessary and technical changes for machines or lines and then we make the necessary new parts. In addition to the mechanical and electrical assembly task, we make the implementation engineering in the form of e.g. the creation of technical foundation plans.If the rebuilding is scheduled at a later time, if required, the lines or the machines can be unpacked or stored in protective packaging for longer periods.With the lines or machines moving with the relevant logistics, it is possible to offer the complete activity of packaging for machines moving.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING - Mop skimmer for oil damage control

Control of hydrocarbon damage for stagnant or moderately flowing waters, settling wells, collecting basins and drainage systems and wells. Floating, slightly up to moderately viscous, hydrocarbons are absorbed by a circumferential cord of polypropylene fibers, also called mop, from the water surface. This “oil-magnetic cord” subsequently passes through a pair of pressure rolls, where in the absorbed oil is pressed out of the cord and sep-arated from the residual water in a separator.

The Mop skimmer, or Mop wringer, is composed by the following main groups:

• Mop skimmer motorized pressure rolls unit

• Separator

• Build-up frame, align horizontally

• Tanks

• Horizontal linkage with cord deflecting rolls

• Float cord deflecting rolls
