THANK YOU FROM KARSTON KELLAR Thank you to all the parishioners who donated to the Welcome House box in February, which will help me to achieve my Eagle Scout designation. The items, which overflowed the box, are much appreciated by the staff and residents alike and will greatly help by enabling and rehabilitating families across Bismarck/Mandan.

PRAYER FOR AN END TO INFANTICIDE The US Senate recently failed to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act—legislation that prohibits infanticide by ensuring that a child born alive following an attempted abortion would receive the same degree of care to preserve her or his life and health as would be given to any other child born alive at the same gestational age. Please join in prayer for an end to infanticide:

“Jesus, Lord of Life, transform the hearts of all elected leaders

to recognize that infanticide is wrong and must not be tolerated. Open hearts and minds to recognize and defend the

precious gift of every human life.”

Stewardship ideas to help you experience

an awesome Lent

• Attend a weekday Mass at 8:00 am.

• Attend the Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 5:30 pm.

• Make time for family activities that are faith-related,

such as reading the Bible as a family.

• Embrace periods of silence in each day.

• Dedicate a portion of your time during Lent to serve

others, such as working at Heavens Helper Soup Cafe

or Ministry on the Margins.

• Attend the KC’s Fish Fry on Fridays at Ascension with

join others and help you abstain from eating meat on
