Pray for Religious Vocations

On the 3rd of each month, our parish prays for Vocations to the Priesthood & Religious Life. Father Sy asks all to unite in prayer for this need. On Tuesday, April 3, after 8:00 am and 6:30 pm Mass, we place our Lord in the Monstrance on the main altar & pray the Rosary for Religious Vocations during Adoration. Join us for a silent Eucharistic Holy Hour Cenacle for all clergy after evening Rosary. If you will not be at the Church, then please pray for these intentions on the 3rd of each month. Thank God for sending laborers into His vineyard. We are blessed with multiple parishioners discerning religious vocations.

If you would like to write them, contact [email protected]

Please continue to pray for those men of our parish who are persevering in their commitment to this journey for Christ. Learn more at: smdpyl.org/forty-for-forty

When is a kiss not a kiss? When it comes from the lips

of a betrayer. The heart-wrenching betrayal of Jesus by Judas always stands at the center of the Passion.

Not an enemy, but one of his chosen betrayed him. In the end, this betrayal remains

central exactly because that is what sin is, sometimes small, sometimes grave

betrayals of God’s love for us. But do not despair, even

the worst of denials (St. Peter) and betrayals will be

forgiven the heart that is sincerely humble and contrite, the heart that

Confesses and believes in the power of the Cross that

opens the way to Absolution. ~ Anonymous
