Mosaic earringsEarrings with Swarovski Rivoli and Matubo beads
Material (for one pair of earrings):
Matubo Rulla beads (32 pcs)Matubo 7/0 beads (8 pcs)Matubo 8/0 beads (40 pcs)11/0 seed beads(approx. 2 grams)12mm Swarovski Rivoli (2 pcs)Beading needle and thread (Nymo, Fireline)
2 earwires2 jump rings

1) String one 11/0 and two Rullas, one 11/0 and two Rullas, one 11/0 and two Rullas and one 11/0 and two Rullas (total four 11/0s and four pairs of Rullas).
2) Tie a square knot to form a circle. Then pass through the upper holes of the nearest pair of Rullas.
3) Add three 8/0s and then pass through the upper holes of the next pair of Rullas.
4) Repeat step 3 ...
5) ... until you reach the end of the row.
6) Pass through the next three 8/0s.
7) Add two Rullas and pass through the three 8/0s in the next corner. Fold the new Rullas inside. Try to keep your tension as tight as possible.
8) Repeat step 7 ...
9) ... until you reach the end of the row
10) Pass through the “lower” holes of the next pair of Rullas

11) Then pass back through the “upper” holes of the same pair of rullas.
12) Put the rivoli inside. Then add one 1/0 and pass through the “upper” holes of the next pair of rullas.
13) Add one 11/0 and pass through the upper holes of the next pair of rullas.
14) Repeat step 13 until you reach the end of the row. The thread should exit from the “upper” holes of a pair of Rullas.
15) Pass back through the “lower” holes of the same pair of Rullas
16) Pass through the next two 8/0s. The thread should exit from the middle 8/0 in the corner.
17) Add two 11/0s, one 8/0, one 7/0 and two 8/0s and then pass through the middle 8/0 in the next corner.
18) Repeat step 17 ...
19) ... until you reach the end of the row
20) The thread should exit from one of the 8/0s in the corner.
Add two 11/0s.
Skip the next two 11/0s and then pass through one 8/0, one 7/0 and one 8/0

21) Add two 11/0s. Skip the next two 11/0s and pass through the middle 8/0 in the next corner.
22) Repeat steps 20 and 21 until you reach the end of the row.
23) Tie a few halfhitch knots and cut off all the remaining thread.
24) Open a jump ring, pass it through one of the 7/0s, add an earwire and close the jump rings.
Here I used turquoise Rullas and 8/0s, fuchsia Rivoli and 11/0s and dark red 7/0s
Here I used turquoise Rullas and 8/0s and orange 7/0s, 11/0s and Rivolis.
You can also add a bit of embellishment to your earrings here I used orange coral drops and 3mm firepolished
beads.
