As you may or may not know, the Glasgow RedsAmerican Legion Baseball program was donated 26acres o land just west o the old BLM building (nowBig Sky Auto Accessories) on Hwy 2 or a new Legion

eld. Te current eld has had issues with ooding overthe years and is due or an upgrade. Tis new parcel o property will not only be bigenough or a new legion eld, but possibly up to our newelds!! Te committee needs your help in envisioning anew multi-purpose park to include the new AmericanLegion eld, a new Babe Ruth eld, a practice eld, aregulation Girls’ High School Sofball eld, and (someare thinking) possibly a new pool!! Committee members are desperately needed(especially you with small school age children – ages5 and up – because your kids will be the ones playingon the new elds in the next 5-10 years). Also sofballparents and/or High School officials should participatein this process. Anyone that can envision a rst-rate,high quality recreational complex that will make usproud.

Please come help contribute to the uture oGlasgow. Te next meeting will take place at the ElksClub at 7 o’clock PM, Wednesday, May 25th. ~ Tom Shultz

Letter to the BuzzSlick, Part 3 As the Primary race heats up in Montana, the political

prophetical bull begins to pile higher. Such is the case in HD33, where the candidatespromised a clean race, and yet newcomer Michael Burnshas already violated this gentlemen’s race by mailing aninteresting ier to the constituents in the district. Tisier represented his opponent, Casey Knudsen, as aninexperienced youngster who supports the drug trade anddare I say it, doesn’t even have a website? Tis letter is a call to the intelligent voters o HD33who believe, like Casey, that Montana can use a true localwho appreciates and understands our way o li e. A manwho isn’t a raid to get his hands dirty, and to give back tothe community. A man o principle, which his opponenthas already proven via the distaste ul mailer that he is not. A ew questions be ore you vote regarding thecandidacy o Michael Burns. Why is a DC policy house so interested in gettingGlasgow newcomer Michael Burns into the M House? Why did he spend nearly $2,000.00 on a campaignstrategist & website manager?

Why do all o the ancy iers come with a Coloradopostmark? Why are out-o -state political rms trying to buy HD33? With our already underrepresented part o the state,we need a proven leader who understands Eastern andCentral Montana and appreciates what we stand or. Not asmooth talking newcomer with questionable standards atbest. Vote Casey Knusden on uesday, June 7th! ~ Leila Seyfert Glasgow, Montana
