In this project we try to give the same prototype for this type of trains.

This project is designed so that students can understand the technology used in the now a day’s driver less metro train.

We are using microcontroller 8051 as CPU.

This project will lead to increase in technological trends .

INTRODUCTION

The main objective of this project to equipped the train without driver which define every station’s path.

The modules demonstrate the value of utilizing simulation for incident management applications.

OBJECTIVE

These trains are equipped with CPU, which control the chain.

Basically it has four parts 1. POWER SUPPLY 2. 8051 IC 3. DISPLAY UNIT 4. STEPPER MOTOR

The motion of the train is controlled by the Stepper Motor.

For displaying message in the train we are using Intelligent LCD Display of two lines.

The stoppage time is of 3 Sec and time between two consecutive stations is 6 Sec. There is a LCD display for showing .

There are indicators, which are used to show the train direction & buzzer also.

MICROCONTROLLER 8051

The IC 8051 is a low-power; high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcomputer with 4K bytes of Flash PEROM.

ULN 2003 Stepper motor needs 10ma to

energised so we use driver IC ULN 2003.

LCD DISPLAYThese LCD Modules are

very common these days, and are quite simple to work with .

STEPPER MOTORThis motor can be operated

in forward/reverse with controllable speed from a BASIC Stamp.

The contrast of the LCD is controlled by 10K variable resistor.

The stepper motor is derived by the ULN 2003 chip. This Chip includes Darlington pairs, so that motor can get enough current to for its running.

The project when used with an improved sensitivity .

Metro is presented as best solution for traffic in metro cities.

It is a prototype which is efficient , affordable to people & friendly.

Growth of traffic can be sorted out with the use of metro train.

Since no country enough fuel for next generation with this it could reduce the use of fuel.
