When you start to talk to your children about inappropriate touching and basic sexual abuse prevention safety rules, be mindful that children can easily be con-fused by even the best of any adult’s intentions, which underscores why all adults have a responsibility to adhere to the highest of standards in their relationships with children. Consider that another good reason to be involved in the activities your children participate in is that it allows you to get to know the adults who work regularly with them. That way, if your child brings a confusing scenario to you, you can more easily discuss the circumstances with your child and the adult involved, with the goal of working towards better behaviors. LENT Reflection: Lent is not only about abstaining from eating or from do-ing what one likes. It is also about improving our relationships with God and with those who surround us. For example:o Treat our loved ones with care and respect.o Come to Sunday Mass together with your family.o Receive the Sacraments of Confession and the Eucharist.o Assist the poor.

Prayer: Loving Jesus, Walk with us as we make our jour-ney through the desert of this Lent-en season. When we feel lost and alone, help us to hear your tender voice calling our name. When we encounter the brokenness in our world, inspire us to respond with generous hearts and kind words. When we are distracted by the noise of this world, enable us to depend on you for answers. In all moments, teach us to trust in you so that as we make our earthly journey we may come to know of your love and mercy and one day soak in the heavenly light with you forever. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

• Fasting: we are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday: The norms are obligatory from ages 18-59. Stations of the Cross:Through the Stations of the Cross we are called to relive the Passion, Pain, Suffering and the Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ he offered for the salvation of each of us.
