LATIN AMERICA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO
* During first quarter of 2014, institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean decreased their active clients by 52,647 clients (‐1.6%). In absolute terms, Compartamos in Mexico was the institution in this group with the largest increase: 68,802 active clients (2.8%). Furthermore, this group decreased its active portfolio by US$123.8 million (‐2.8%), and also Compartamos/Mexico was the institution in this group with the highest increase in this variable: US$43.3 million (3.4%).

AFRICA AND ASIA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO
* Partners in Africa increased by 2,052 active clients (2.0%). In absolute terms, AMfB in Nigeria was the only institution with growth in this variable by 2,857 clients (13.0%). In contrast, this group decreased its active portfolio by US$6.7 million (‐6.5%) and also AMfB was the institution that increased more: US$0.6 million (3.0%). *Partners in Asia grew by 36,202 active clients (21.3%). In absolute terms, the highest growth was in Swadhaar (India) with 27,500 clients (21.3%). Furthermore, this group increased its active portfolio by US $6.2 million (11.9%) and Swadhaar (India) was the institution in this group that increased in this variable the most: 6.7 million (24.7%).

By March of 2014, the group of Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean showed an increase in their Portfolio at Risk of 0.21 points; it remains below the weighted average of all
institutions by 0.05 points.
The group Partners in Africa increased It’s indicator by 1.32 percentage points. And, it is the group that remains above the total weighted average (3.14 points above).
The group of partners in Asia remained its Portfolio at Risk indicator. However, it stays 1.60 points below the weighted average of the total risk indicator.
