Xylem supplied its Wedeco ultraviolet (UV) disinfection technology to American Falls, Idaho to purify municipal drinking water and wastewater. Compared to traditional disinfection with chlorine, UV disinfection is an environmentally friendly alternative that produces no by products.

ApplicationsThe new Lowara e-NSC series is the natural choice

for water transport, hydronic heating and chiller systems, fire protection systems and a vast number

of industrial applications.

Lowara e-NSC seriesHigh flexibility for heavy duty in building services. With efficiency levels well exceeding ErP 2015, the e-NSC series offer long term economical pumping solutions. For heavy duty applications in building services.

High efficiencyNew designed high effi-ciency hydraulics with an MEI better than 0,4, which is well above the ErP2015 level and IE3 motors set the basis for very low operation costs.

Reduced energy consumptionIn many applications. the need for water is always varying. By equipping the e-NSC with a Hydrovar pump controller, the duty is always exactly where it should be. And it pays off: re-ducing the speed by 50% re-duces the power consumption by 70%.

Long service life Robust design, different bearing frame sizes and stainless steel replaceable wear rings ensure a long service life. The e-NSC is also designed for easy maintenance and all service points are easy reachable to reduce downtime.

Hot or coldThe standard e-NSC can handle liquid temperatures from -25°C up to +120°C and the high temperature version up to +140°C
