with additional offers pending:

This September, we will be welcoming the
first cohort into our new Master of Finance
non-coop option. A one year program.
“I would say being part of the
Master of Finance family is a
treasured experience in my life.
Considering my background,
having little finance-related
education, the Master of
Finance program provides me
with not only intensive training
in the finance field, but also 8
months of real industry working
experience. The rigorous
academic research atmosphere,
together with the valuable
guidance from the faculty
members, drives me to succeed
in my coming career.”

Laurier EMTM update
Executive Masters in Technology Management
Our EMTM learners have successfully completed the first
two of the three modules, and are now racing towards the
finish, and in spite of their gruelling schedule and
workload, they are fully committed to the program. In fact,
the professors and industry experts who attended the
second integrated session as panel members were
pleasantly surprised by the level of engagement and
intelligence of our learners. It is also encouraging and
rewarding for every staff and faculty member involved in
the program to know that all of our learners are giving
excellent feedback about the EMTM program.
The Laurier EMTM has been aggressively promoting the
program to increase public awareness through various
publications such as Engineering Dimensions, On Board
Magazine, CheckMark, and the Globe and Mail. The
program has also been featured extensively in the March/
April issue of Exchange Magazine. To facilitate more face-
to-face interaction with the public, the Laurier EMTM has
participated in Tech Leadership Conference in Waterloo,
Canada 3.0 in Stratford, and most recently, OCE Discovery
in Toronto.
The office is currently accepting applications for
September 2012. We have been receiving inquiries from
various industries, and we are excited to add more
diversity to the program.
The Laurier EMTM has recently launched a Facebook page
to get in touch with a larger audience. Our Twitter and
LinkedIn group have become more active as well to reflect
the global trend of social media networking .
The EMTM website is currently going through another
transformation to better accommodate the needs of our
learners and prospects. Visit our website at laurieremtm.ca
and more importantly, don’t forget to “like” us on
Facebook and follow us on Twitter @LaurierEMTM
