In 1996, The US Marine Corps Commandant General Charles C. Krulak outlined his theory of the Full Spectrum Operation that he named the “Three Block War” (3BW). ”In one moment in time, our service members will be feeding and clothing displaced refugees - providing humanitarian assistance. In the next moment, they will be holding two warring tribes

apart – conducting peace-keeping operations. Finally, they will be fighting a highly lethal mid-intensity battle. All the same day, all within three city blocks. It is what we call the Three Block War.”

In order to operate and be effective in the 3BW, soldiers need to have light weight, modular and multifunctional equipment

that enables them to adapt the protection and equipment according to rapid changes in situation, mission and threat level. In response to this, we created the Full Spectrum Protection concept (FSP), a holistic personal protection and load carrying system that connects the diverse missions characterized by modern and future operations.

The FSP concept enables the user to adapt appearance, protection and equipment through a variety of missions such as delivering humanitarian aid, patrolling the streets, controlling crowd or fighting a battle.

A modern body armor system consists of several components optimized to work together. The cooperation of all fabrics and components result in a

perfect product. Shape, function and location of the components must also be precisely considered.

A perfect product demands a broad knowledge and experience material of technology, body armor design, human anatomy and ergonomics of end user, to name a few. ergonomics end user Working with the premium developers of ballistic fabrics and the market

Since the 1990’s the borders between war

and peace operations have become less

distinct. Operations of war, peace and crisis

can occur in any sequence, simultaneously and

in immediate proximity of one another.

The FSP concept enables the user to adapt appearance,

protection and equipment through the whole spectrum

of missions such as delivering humanitarian aid, patrolling

the streets, crowd control or fighting a battle.

Combining inhouse developed and patented technologies, NFM® produces armor with an extremely high anti-ballistic performance.

Most ballistic ceramic plates have a secure area starting

5 cm from the edge. Our unique plates contain a secure

area starting only 2 cm from the edge, giving the end

user a 60% higher active area of protection.

Using our patented thermoplastic add-on technology enables

the active protection area to reach out to the edges and corners

of the plate, enhancing the plate’s multi hit performance

and edge shot capacity. By using the latest technologies in

materials and manufacturing, we can reduce the total weight,

obtain higher mobility and increase the overall protection.
