About the Trust

Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust was established way back in 1968 by the founder Chairman late P. K.

Das, an eminent Chartered Engineer, a renowned Academician, a great Industrialist and a well-known Philanthropist with

the focused objective of imparting world class value added practical education in aviation and other fields of technology.

The trust, started originally for promoting a College of Aeronautics, diversified later on and established a cluster of

Educational Institutions both in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Now, NGI is offering more than 90 graduate courses in a wide

learning system into academic curriculum. POSIT is an applied learning system which gives

Nehru Corporate Placement and Industrial Relations is a division of

NGI, instituted to explore the world of employment and new career

avenues for every students of NGI. It has a team of professionals

drawn from various industry backgrounds and they work on

building relationship with the industry to enable multiple level

engagements such as Placements, Training, Alliances, Projects etc.

It also helps students in career planning through counselling

wherein they can gather information about themselves in terms of

their interest, aptitude and abilities so that they can choose their

career more effectively. The objective of NCP&IR is also on the

professional development of the students by training them

towards employability skill such as resume building, group

discussion and interview skills which in turn help the students to
