PRINCETON HIGH SCHOOLEVENING CREDIT RECOVERY PROGRAM

20112012 SCHOOL YEAR

The Princeton Evening Program for High School Credit is a computer-based, INDEPENDENT STUDY

PROGRAM. Students progress on their own and at their own pace. Students must complete allrequirements within an 18-week period. This program is designed to provide an opportunity for in/outof school youth and adults, sophomore age and older, to complete high school requirements. Onlyacademic subjects, with a limited number of electives, are offered. A certified teacher is present in theclassroom to assist the students as needed.

A student must complete a Princeton High School Evening Credit Recovery Program RegistrationForm, signed by their Home School Counselor and/or Principal (last school they attended) and parent tobe officially registered for a class. This registration form must state the subject and amount of creditwhich the student needs to complete. *Tuition must be paid in full on the date of registration.

Registration is continuous in 18-week increments. Registration will be during the hours of operationonly. Classes are held on MONDAY, TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS ONLY from 2:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m. when day school is in session. The first day of classes is October 3

rdand the last day

of classes will be May 11th, 2012.

Check or money order should be made payable to: Princeton City School DistrictCost: $150 for each semester credit

A $30 fee will be assessed for returned checks. Credit and grades will be withheld until paid in full.

If work is not completed, the student may re-register, (paying the full amount again to complete the

unfinished work). All students must pass with at least an 80% average. Each student signs in and outof the classroom each evening that he/she attends. When all requirements are met, he/she signs out withthe teacher to make certain all requirements have been met and that the student has passed. With all thiscompleted, the grade is then forwarded to the students home school counselor.

*Home School Counselor/Principal must grant student permission to take an evening course and ascertainthat credit will be accepted at the Home School.

Princeton High School does not issue a transcript of said credit.

These courses are not NCAA approved core courses.
