HOW TO SELECT YOUR OPTIONAL MODULES

Select your optional modules from the Pick Modules section of the Module Registration page by clicking on the Select button on the left-hand side of the screen.

The descriptions in the Rule column will indicate which groups you must choose modules from. For example, if the wording says:

Take a maximum of 30 credits from …. — you can only take up to 30 credits from that group.

Take a minimum of 60 credits and a maximum of 90 credits from… — you must choose at least 60 credits from that group, but no more than 90 credits.

Take a maximum of 2 modules from…. — you have the option of choosing up to 2 modules from that group.

The description in the Overarching column will indicate if you need to select a particular number of credits from a collection of groups. For example, if the wording

says:

Subject to an overall minimum of 45 credits and an overall minimum of 45 credits – you must choose 45 credits from the groups indicated.

If the rule description includes an ‘OR’ statement – the 45 credits must be chosen from the same group, e.g. 45 credits from group A or group B.

If the rule description includes an ‘AND’ statement – the 45 credits can be chose from either group, e.g. 15 credits from group A and 30 credits group B.
