Catholic Charities Pregnancy & Parenting Programs

Through the Pregnancy and Parenting Program, Catholic Charities offers supportive services to women who may find themselves in a crisis pregnancy, or to new mothers and fathers as they contend with the transitions surrounding the arrival of each new life. Support takes many forms—baby items, supportive counseling, life skills, and education are but a few ways we help women and their infants. The Pregnancy and Parenting Program is a completely free service that is offered until the unborn child is one year of age. All clients will receive free items at each visit. All baby items are based upon donations. Services are offered to all individuals regardless of religious affiliation, race, marital status, sex, age or socio-economic status. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to phone our office at 724-775-0758.

Easter Welcome

In a spirit of great joy Our Lady of Fatima welcomes into the Church through the waters of Baptism James Psomas and Russ Spike; and welcomes into full Communion Katie Boff, Chelsea Guthrie, Lilli Stoll, and Noah Stoll. These folks have been journeying with us in the RCIA classes this year and were accepted into the faith through the Easter Sacraments at this year’s Easter Vigil. We give thanks to God for their gift of faith and the many blessings they bring to God’s Church.

An Easter Thank You

Thank you to all who helped decorate the church foe Holy Week and Easter. Your help and is greatly appreciated. The Church looked beautiful. Many thanks!

John went to a psychiatrist. "Doc," he said, "I've got trou-ble. Every time I get into bed, I think there's somebody un-der it. I'm going crazy!"

"Just put yourself in my hands for one year," said the shrink. "Come talk to me three times a week, and we should be able to get rid of those fears."

"How much do you charge?"

"Eighty dollars per visit," replied the doctor.

"I'll sleep on it," said John.

Six months later the doctor met John on the street. "Why didn't you ever come to see about those fears you were hav-

ing?" asked the psychiatrist.

"Well eighty bucks a visit three times a week for a year is an awful lot of money! My friend Joe cured me for $10. I was so happy to have saved all that money went and bought me a new pickup!"

"Is that so?! And how, may I ask, did Joe cure you?"

"He told me to cut the legs off the bed! Nobody's under there now!!"
