Ushers Needed

OLMM Parish is looking for Usher volunteers for the 9am Mass on Sunday mornings. Ushers are responsible for supervising the

collections of donations by parishioners. We are required to have at least 2 individuals present during this process each Sunday along with 4 junior volunteer collectors. An additional responsibility is to find individuals to bring the gifts to the altar after the collection each Sunday. Ushers can be male or female, must be registered in our OLMM Parish, and be at least 16 years of age (if an adult is present). A schedule will be posted approximately every 6 weeks for Ushers in the church Sacristy. PLEASE NOTE: This will not be a weekly responsibility if we have enough volunteers come forward. Please contact Leo Filteau at [email protected] if you are interested in adding your name to this Parish Ministry roster.

Our Lady's Sodality will be meeting March

12th at 12:30pm in the St. Catherine

St. Theresa Parish

820 Central Rd., Rye Beach

All are invited and encouraged to take advantage of

the opportunity to receive Christ's gift of healing.

Easter Flowers

Remember your loved ones this Easter

season with a donation in their

memory. Envelopes are available at each entrance of

the church for those who need one. Please fill it out

and place it in the collection basket.

We have ordered our new Paschal Candles for

our churches for Easter. This year's candles are

entitled Genesis.

As the first reading from Genesis for the Easter

Vigil indicates, light was God’s first creation.

The undulating bands of color, punctuated by

22K genuine gold slivers of the moon, suggest

the formless abyss giving way to the Creator’s

cosmic order. At the Easter Vigil, the priest will

personally finish the candle, carving the year,

the Alpha and the Omega into blank wax.

Just a note... There will be baskets available at the

entrances of the church if you would

like to return your old palms.

Thank you.

Below are just a couple of the CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection:

Desires of the Heart: Receiving the Gifts of the Father

Sister Bethany Madonna, vocations director for the Sisters of Life, shares how God not only wants us to know him, but also to give us the desires of our heart and gifts that bring purpose, meaning, and hope. She makes it clear that “receiving is the gift that we give” to the Lord and that he wants to be invited into every aspect of our lives. Speaking from her own life experience, Sister Bethany shows the importance of asking in order to receive all the Lord has in mind for us. Finding the Fullness of Faith

Stephen Ray was raised in a devout, loving, Baptist family. In this presentation, he shares his amazing conversion to Catholicism and explains why he is convinced it is the Church founded by Christ over 2000 years ago. We kindly ask for a donation of $4.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $3.00 per CD, $2.00 per booklet and $0.50 per pamphlet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to “OLMM.” Won’t you reach out and help bring someone home?

Highlighting Our Advertisers Did you know that New Day Solutions advertises on the back pages of our bulletin? Any business you give them benefits our parish in the publication of our bulletin. We thank all of our advertisers.

Dear Parishioners,

As you have read in a previous bulletin announcement; Bishop Libasci has asked that our Diocese restore the

celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation to its original place, before the celebration of First Eucharist, and to

make lifelong faith formation a priority within our parish communities. Please read the announcement below from

the Diocese, and if you have any further questions or concerns, please contact Sherry or Chris in our Faith

Formation Office. Have a blessed week, Fr. Gary

“The three sacraments of initiation lay the foundations of every Christian life.” (CCC 1212)

Through the waters of Baptism, we are incorporated into the Body of Christ through the Spirit. We die to sin and

become new creations in Christ. Confirmation is a special outpouring and strengthening of the Holy Spirit. This

sacrament permanently seals us to Jesus Christ. Through the sacrament of the Eucharist we receive Christ, Body, Soul,

and Divinity, in the bread and wine. Eucharist completes our initiation and unites us as one body in Christ. Eucharist is

the Source and Summit of our faith; therefore, OUR DIOCESE WILL BE RESTORING THE ORDER IN WHICH

THE SACRAMENTS OF INITIATION; BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION, FIRST EUCHARIST; ARE

CELEBRATED; culminating with Eucharist.

Go to www.catholicnh.org/lifelong for more information on this important change.

Through compassionate prayer and fasting, peaceful public witness, volunteers like you have

helped to: Save 13,998 babies from abortion, Convert 170 abortion workers, Close 90

abortion centers! Next opportunity to participate in this international effort begins Feb. 14th

and runs through Mar. 25th, with vigil hours outside the Greenland Lovering Center, 7am-7pm daily. OLMM

parishioners are invited to help fill vigil hours each Wednesday of the campaign and to offer their Lenten fasting

and prayers for this effort. For more information visit 40daysforlife.com/Greenland or contact Jackie

McCoy:603-531-1662 or [email protected].
