PROJECT GOAL

The employers who employ the majority of our

WIC eligible population will accommodate

lactating mothers in the workplace.

LACTATION ACCOMMODATION

Survey WIC mothers to identify the top 5

employers of WIC eligible women in our area

Educate employers using “The Business Case for

Breastfeeding” on the benefits to businesses that

accommodate lactating women in the workplace

Provide businesses with assistance in meeting

the minimal requirements of lactation

accommodation outlined in AB 1025

Invite a business representative to serve on the

breastfeeding coalition
