circular motion, before starting oscillations.• Simple pendulums, oscillations, and periods
are defined.• The students are asked to determine what
controls the period of a simple pendulum.

Lab Procedure
• The first day groups develop their own procedures
• The next days in the lab they follow the procedures they developed.

• At the beginning of the year the students learned to work in MS Excel.
• They can manipulate and graph data.• They know how to linearize graphs.
