TRANSCRIPT
You have been commissioned by the Darlington TV (Cthe BOX) to produce a Documentary
Your product document anything of interest or relevance with the North East
self financed through advertising
16 to 25 age group.
The northern echo fall under…
therefore my documentary needs
follow their constraints:
No offensive behavior
No underage illegal activity
When I showed my audience my two minute clip they said things like:
‘Quite good, relevant to audience’
‘I like that you used local music’
‘Could do with some cutaways but overall good’
I am trying to find out if it is hard to break into the local hardcore scene.
My unique selling point is I will be following an already established band who are trying to break into the music scene
Fast paced shots of band coming on stage and crowd dancing
Cutaways with archive footage mixed in showing hardcore scene
Interview with ‘All At Sea’ introducing them and asking mock up questions
Interviews with other bands saying their view one the scene and ‘All At Sea’
More fast paced gig shots comparing them to archive footage of bigger bands
Interviews with promoters and venue owners
Playing big gig at O2 academy interesting camera shots
Preparing for big gig at O2 academy
Vox pops of fans outside the O2 academy
As my documentary is for a young audience I will need to use quite a medium pace and keep the cutaways flowing with the interviews.
I will include a binary opposition
I will also use relevant Mise en Scene such as musical instruments in the background of the interviews.
My budget is around £10000
That's going to be £6000 on production and £4000 on post production
