Pragati was born in India in 1980 and studied Architecture and Industrial Design. After f inishing her formal education, she lived in Europe for a while to fur ther explore the synergy between Ar t, Design & Architecture. She is one of the most promising New Age Indian ar tists. Her oeuvres are characterized by saturated colours and elaborate composit ions that are visually introspective in value. Every painting is a celebration of colour and is a mirror that reflects the ar tist 's patience, dedication and honest depiction of her creative soul.

Pragati draws heavily from her Indian origin but also blends her knowledge and understanding of the diverse cultures that she's experienced by living in dif ferent continents. With a Masters in Product Design from the prestigious National Insti tute of Design (India), the architect and product designer turned ar tist has exhibited her work in India and US on numerous occasions. Some of the most note wor thy exhibits being at Harvard Universi ty, Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Research Center and at the Universi ty of Connecticut Health Center. Pragati was one amongst the only 3 ar tists selected for a Habitat for Humanity public ar t Project in Vancouver Canada. Her creations have also been selected for CRY (Child Relief and You) and have been showcased at the world famous Times Square, New York City! She lives with her family in the Bay Area, California, and in her studio she blends various forms of f ine ar ts, per forming ar ts & design to create mult i -sensory experiences that touch the viewer in posit ive and spiri tual ways.
