The pattern for -er verbs is much like the pattern for-ar verbs. The only differenceis, instead of using “a” you use “e.”

The Verb VERYou also know the verb VER.it is the same as the other -er verbs except in the “yo” form. It is irregular in the “yo” form. An arrow will show you the difference.

Verbs that have a spelling change in the “yo” form:• Remember that some verbs have a spelling change in the

present tense

• -zco Verbs that end in –cir or –cer usually have a spelling change in the yo form.• If there is a vowel before the c, change “c_r” to -zco in yo form. • Ej. Conocer—yo conozco
