Freelancing VAs - A freelancer, freelance worker, or freelance is a person who is self-employed and is not committed to a particular employer long-term.

These workers are sometimes represented by a company or an agency that resells their labor and that of others to its clients with or without project management and labor contributed by its regular employees. Others are completely independent.

What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)

A virtual assistant is typically abbreviated to VA, also called a virtual office assistant.

A VA is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office.

1. What are you good at?2. What do you LOVE doing that you would even do for FREE?3. Who do you want to work with? – Ideal client4. Make a very detailed description of your IDEAL CLIENT5. Why they’d want to work with YOU?6. Make a list of the things you CAN DO..7. Make another list of the things you LOVE DOING, you’d be willing to do it even for FREE.

9. Among the list of things you CAN DO, list what are those that you WANT to DO and OFFER as a SERVICE. Start with what you know and offer it. You can always add a service once you’re ready.

10. Determine your RATE. Not too low and not too HIGH. Ideal rate is $20-25/hour. If you think you’re not yet ready to offer that much, start with what you think you’re comfortable.
