CD
Compact Disc – Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) is a basic hardware in a multimedia computer system.
CD technology increase the capacity in storing and retrieving data.
Long time ago, floppy disc was the main media exchange tools but now CD-ROM has exceed its capability.
CD-ROM has made the storing and retrieving process easier and faster with higher capacity comparing to the floppy disc.

Advantages of CD-ROM:
Speed
Capacity
It can store data such as audio, video,
text, graphic, animation and etc.
Floppy disc only 1.44MB.
CD-ROM can be up to 800MB

DVD up to 4.7GB
Blue Ray up to 50GB
