Climate Survey Actions Current Works

Current works under construction include:

• Civil works – Slope ‘A’ works - stabilising earth berm & construction of a Gabion Basket Retaining Wall

Structure.– Slope ‘B’ works - construct a Gabion Basket Retaining Wall Structure, drainage & landfill

capping.– Slope ‘C’ works - construct a Semi contiguous concrete pile retaining wall & drainage at the toe

of Slope C.– Remediate the former North Turramurra Landfill site closed 1986.

• Bulk Earthworks – Construct the general landform of the new golf holes – Cut and fill operation requiring importation of significant volumes of imported landfill capping

sandstone, shale, clay, sand, gravel & topsoil. – Improved capping & drainage over landfill to reduce the flow of leachate & improve stability of

landfill slopes.

• Finishing Works – Shape, and place growing medium to landscape ,turf & grow in new golf holes.– Construct creek & wetland to convey stormwater flows– Final covering of suitable clean soil & a growing medium for planting turf, native grasses, &

selected shrubs & trees.5 of 22
