2015: by the numbers
ON BEHALF OF THE ENTIRE EXECUTIVE TEAM, I would like to thank you for your in-terest in the fourth annual Queen’s Startup Summit. Since 2013, the summit has brought some of the brightest minds from across Ontario and Canada to partake in our week-end-long event that aims to provide our par-ticipants with invaluable entrepreneurial ex-perience, create enduring relationships and networks, and develop a passion for innovation.
Over the course of the summit, dele-gates will have the opportunityq to listen to speeches from industry leaders, pitch business ideas, form teams and work col-laboratively to materialize their vision, and present their startup in front of a panel of es-teemed judges for a chance to win funding.
Over the past three years, this event has been a tremendous hit, providing the foundation for successful ventures such as stock analysis app Vuru, mobile and web product consulting firm ThinkAkili, and smartbike manufacturer Van-hawks. However, these achievements would not be possible if it were not for the time and knowledge offered to our delegates by our mentors, whose job it is to provide guidance and wisdom to teams in order to optimize their startup’s potential. With your support, the Queen’s Startup Summit is equipped to realize its full potential as a platform for the conver-gence of talent and ideas.
We encourage you to read on and learn more about the summit, and are honoured to extend this opportunity to interact with and foster the growth of promising stu-dents and future entrepreneurial leaders.
Sincerely,Gilad StreinerQueen’s Startup Summit Marketing and Rela-tions Director

Since its inception, the summit has attracted bright young minds from across all disciplines, placed them in a stimulating, competitive environment, and provided them
with the guidance, support, and resources they need to excel.
Over the course of the event, in-dustry leaders will give insightful speeches about their experience in the world of entrepreneurship, delegates will develop their ideas into real ventures, mentors will have the opportunity to teach and shape the progress of these fledging young entrepreneurs, judges will assess the promise of these startups, and everyone will have the opportunity to socialize and form lasting connections.
